How to straighten an RC heli main shaft..low tech solution

Stop Pulling Your Putts to Lower Your Scores

If you pull your putts, do not worry. It is a simple mistake that is simple to correct and does not take very much time to do so, you can do it in your own home if you wish.

Ok so here is why you pull your putts, it is because you think that you are taking the club straight back and through, but in reality you are taking it to the outside then straight through. Your stroke would kinda look like this which causes the putt to go to the left.

So the simple solution to this is to putt make sure you are going straight back and through. To do this, grab a long iron and set it down on your carpet, the practice green, or wherever you are practicing. Then you grab your putter and without any balls practice your stroke going straight back and forth following the shaft of the club. Do the practice stroke 5 to 8 times then have 2 or 3 balls and stroke those, then walk back to the long iron and practice the stroke another 5 to 8 times, and then go back to the balls. Do this several times, as much as can, even though you think you have got, still do it. Even if it is only 2 minutes a day, whatever practice you can get in will be tremendous.

You want this stroke to become second nature, and then after that, you will never have to worry about your putting stroke again. Now become the putter you have always wanted to become.

Questions & Answers about Shaft Pull Out

How do you pull a half shaft (inboard side) out of a transaxle?

I have both right and left outer CV joint boots torn on a 1991 Camry and was thinking of just replacing the boots. I'm working on the pass. side now. It's the plug in type (not bolt-on). I'm thinking that if I can get the whole half shaft out, I might just replace it with an aftermarket or reman shaft. But, I can't get the half shaft out of the transaxle. Everything is unhooked (outboard side is disconnected from steering knuckle, snap ring is loose from the bearing bracket, bearing bracket retaining bolt is out). What tool do I use to pull the shaft from the transaxle? What do I pry against?

After making sure the vehicle is securely supported and you have the outer end of the halfshaft free, use a prybar that they sell for carpenters to remove nails etc. Its about 14" long. Use its edges wedged against the transaxel case and the halfshaft section that holds the inner ujoint. Be careful because without making sure the vehicle is securely lifted you won't have the confidence needed to properly apply the force needed.

Also, be careful prying as there may be two fuel lines right there and if you slip with the prybar it might tear into them causing a leak.

My 99 toyota carolla has 72K orig miles and I am having trouble with engine skipping. T?

I was driving home the other night and my car began skipping. I just had 60000 mile check-up/maintenance done about a year ago. I am the original owner. The check engine light came on and flashed about ten times. I took it to autozone and had them run a computer test on it. They stated that the computer read number 1 cylinder misfire. I called toyota and they stated that it was either the plug or wire leading to that cylinder. I went and bought sparkplugs and was getting ready to replace them when I popped the wire off and pulled the shaft out of the block only to find antifreeze/water in the block with plug. Is this normal? The other wires on the other three plugs are dry. How did this water get in there? This has been a great car and hope that it has no major problems. I have had no problems with it. Please let me know what my problem might be if you can help.

That is not good at all. The other guys are right, cracked head or block, or it could be a blown gasket. I'm really sorry, but its a pretty major problem. Antifreeze and water should not be in there. It will be a major repair job. Good luck.
